The Pilsen Inn Residential Services, funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health, provides a 26-bed, 24-hour supervised residential setting for homeless persons diagnosed with a mental illness. Rehabilitation services focus on increasing program participants’ daily living skills, promoting independence, and sharing relevant knowledge and information related to their specific mental illness (i.e. importance of a medication regimen, adverse affects of discontinuing medications, signs and symptoms, etc.) Program services include Crisis intervention and medication management; Independent living skills training; and Case management and referrals for counseling services
