The Therapeutic Outpatient Youth Services (TOYS) Program, funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health, provides services to children and adolescents identified, on the basis of a mental health evaluation, as having a mental illness or emotional disturbance with significant impairment to functioning, behavior or emotional adjustment.

Program staff members meet with youth individually to assess their emotional needs and to develop a recommended therapeutic course of action which considers collaboration with schools and other professionals or agencies throughout the treatment process. Services include but are not limited to Individual, Group and Family counseling; Treatment Planning; Referral, Advocacy, and Crisis Intervention; and Psychiatric Care.
