Custodian/Janitor

Pilsen Wellness Center, Inc. is a community-based not-for-profit agency that provides culturally sensitive services to a multicultural population with limited financial resources. The organizations mission has remained providing quality human services to economically disadvantaged children and families. The agency is comprised of five divisions – Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Youth Services, Early Intervention, and Education which are currently supported through 15 different locations.

We are seeking Part Time Custodian for Pilsen Wellness Center – Stone Park located at 1546 N Mannheim Rd, Stone Park Illinois 60165.

Work schedule offered: Monday Wednesday Friday: 4:00pm – 8:00pm and Saturday 9am – 5pm

Responsibilities and Duties

The Custodian has the primary responsibility for cleaning the center in such a way to promote health and safety while reducing the spread of infection. It is the role of the custodian to follow daily, weekly and monthly cleaning/ building maintenance schedules assigned by the site Supervisor, including, but not limited to, the kitchen, office areas, bathrooms, storage areas and entrances. Some experience with hvac, drywall, light plumbing & electrical preferred. The custodian may also be responsible for performing additional duties not stipulated. If so, these duties are specified as an addendum to this description.

Qualifications and Skills

This individual must have a High School Diploma. It is preferred that the Custodian have training in the custodial field. A valid driver’s license is REQUIRED (occasional travel to other locations).
