Finance Manager

Pilsen Wellness Center, Inc. is a community-based not-for-profit agency that provides culturally sensitive services to a multicultural population with limited financial resources. The organizations mission has remained providing quality human services to economically disadvantaged children and families. The agency is comprised of five divisions – Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Youth Services, Early Intervention, and Education which are currently supported through 14 different locations.

We are seeking for a highly motivated full-time Finance Manager to join our Finance Department located at 2319 South Damen Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60608.

The work schedule available is: Monday-Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities and Duties

Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Manager assists in Financial Reporting, budget, analysis and compliance with federal, state, and local laws. The Finance Manager assists in ensuring compliance with funding sources’ contractual agreements.

Qualifications and Skills

Master’s Degree in finance or business management, CPA or Law degree required with 3 – 5 years proven experience in compliance or ethics field.. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Knowledge of generally accepted Accounting Principles, Accounting Rules & Regulations. Working knowledge of fundamental software packages (i.e. Microsoft Office Word, Power Point, Excel etc.)
