C.I.L.A. Program

The Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) Program, funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health, offers housing and 24-hour, on-site supervision and support to 8 males diagnosed with a chronic mental illness.  The program combines case management, counseling, and psychosocial rehabilitation services.

The program design includes highly structured services geared toward reducing recidivism rates and facilitating the movement of program participants into their own independent housing through skills development.  CILA Program goals promote optimal independence in daily living, community integration and economic self-sufficiency.

Program services also include Medication monitoring and maintenance; Social rehabilitation; Psychiatric follow-up, group, individual and peer support; and Community residential placement upon program completion.
