The Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Program, funded by the Chicago Department of Public Health, provides a supervised residential setting for persons with an HIV/AIDS diagnosis and mental health and/or a substance abuse diagnosis. Program services include Crisis Intervention and Medication Management; Independent living skills training; as well as Case Management and referrals for counseling services.
