Adolescent Substance Use Program

The Adolescent Substance Use Program (ASUP), funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery, offers adolescents between the ages of 13 and 17 years of age individual substance abuse counseling and case management services.  Using a multidisciplinary approach, the program components address extensive drug education, coping skills training, family therapy, and emotional processing skills development.  Participants also receive toxicology testing services, aftercare planning, and group counseling therapy.  Prevention efforts also include projects involving early intervention and community intervention within local schools, health fairs, etc.

  • TB, hepatitis, HIV & STD’s education
  • Toxicology testing
  • Group counseling/therapy
  • Aftercare planning
