Pilsen Wellness Center, Inc. is a community-based not-for-profit agency that provides culturally sensitive services to a multicultural population with limited financial resources. The organization’s mission has remained providing quality human services to economically disadvantaged children and families. The agency is comprised of five divisions – Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Early Intervention, Youth Services and Education which are currently supported through 14 different locations.

The IT department is seeking an IT Technical Support Specialist to join our team.

This individual will work with the IT Director, IT team members, and other staff to maintain, improve and expand the IT infrastructure for Pilsen Wellness Center, Inc. This position requires strong technical experience, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management, staff and vendors. It is important to project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction with staff, vendors, clients, and visitors. This individual will travel to other agency locations, so a reliable form of transportation is a MUST .

Duties include:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve PC hardware/software, network, telephone, surveillance camera, and printer/copier/fax machine problems.
  • Deploy/install/maintain PC hardware/software, office telephones and related equipment, printers/fax machines/copiers, surveillance cameras, cell phones, tablets, and network connections.
  • Work with IT Director and IT Team to maintain a smooth running IT environment for agency staff, management, and clients.
  • Run antivirus/malware/adware and any other harmful software from agency devices.
  • Organize and test currently unused IT equipment to maintain readiness for use or recommend use for parts or disposal.
  • Use the ticketing system to receive, track, and complete requests for IT assistance.
  • Provide technical support over the phone, email, remotely or on site to agency staff.
  • Installing and testing flat screen tv’s, audio and video equipment.
  • Testing audio and video equipment prior to any scheduled event or meeting to guarantee the readiness of the equipment.
  • Run Ethernet and phone cables as needed for new offices or expansion projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.
