Full Time Substance Use Counselor- Cermak

Pilsen Wellness Center, Inc. is a community-based not-for-profit agency that provides culturally sensitive services to a multicultural population with limited financial resources. The organizations mission has remained providing quality human services to economically disadvantaged children and families. The agency is comprised of five divisions – Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Youth Services, Early Intervention, and Education which are currently supported through 15 different locations.

We are seeking highly motivated Substance Use Counselors to join our Cermak Facility located at 3113 West Cermak Road Chicago, IL 60623.

The work schedule available is: Monday- Friday: 6:00 am-2:00 pm & alternating Saturday’s.

Responsibilities and Duties

This individual assesses the participant’s needs, participates in the development and implementation of Individual Treatment Plans, facilitates the provision of appropriate therapeutic and rehabilitative services, and monitors the progress of participants.

Qualifications and Skills

Certified Alcohol and other Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) certification preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
